Football Jersey Fabric Manufacturer

Fersan Tekstil is a vertically integrated polyester knitted fabric manufacturer in Çorlu, Türkiye; the football jersey programme supplies every fabric layer of a kit from a single mill — ~750 tonnes a month since 1982.

A football jersey is not one fabric but a stack of fabrics: bird’s-eye mesh or dry-fit in the body, sports net opening airflow at the side panels and back, a light lining mesh where the design calls for it, jacquard piqué for collared kits. Jacquard mesh knits the motif into the cloth itself — no print needed — and light grounds ship ready for sublimation.

The same line scales from an amateur club collection to a teamwear producer’s season programme; the season calendar is our calendar too. We supply clubs and teamwear manufacturers across Western Europe, Russia and the CIS, and routinely produce to the test standards of European sports and apparel brands.

Structures we manufacture for the jersey stack

Sports Net / Eyelet Mesh

Sports net / eyelet mesh

110–160 g/m²

In this application
The ventilation layer for side panels and back — maximum airflow at minimum weight.
Composition
100% polyester (mechanical give) or, for real stretch, a ~88–92% PES / 8–12% elastane variant.

Bird’s-eye Mesh (mock mesh)

Bird’s-eye mesh (mock mesh)

135–200 g/m²

In this application
The jersey-body classic: a dot texture that opens air channels with a clean, opaque look.
Composition
100% polyester (typical); a ~90–92% PES / 8–10% elastane version exists for stretch.

Jacquard Mesh

Jacquard mesh

150–250 g/m²

In this application
The motif lives inside the knit — print-free club character and zoned ventilation in one fabric.
Composition
100% polyester or, for stretch, ~88–92% PES / 8–12% elastane.

Moisture-Wicking Performance Knit

Moisture-wicking performance knit

130–220 g/m²

In this application
The high-tempo body alternative: moves sweat to the surface and stays dry for the full ninety minutes.
Composition
Mostly 100% polyester; often ~80–90% PES / 10–20% elastane (with-spandex) for stretch and fit.

Polyester Single Jersey with Elastane

Single jersey + elastane

160–250 g/m²

In this application
For warm-up tops and fitted kits: stretch and recovery with a print-ready face.
Composition
~92–95% polyester / 5–8% elastane (spandex); commonly 95/5 and 92/8.

Jacquard Piqué

Jacquard piqué

180–260 g/m²

In this application
Collared kits and presentation polos — a knitted-in motif with a structured look.
Composition
100% polyester; a ~95/5 elastane variant exists for patterned stretch qualities.

Frequently asked questions

What is your MOQ for football jersey fabrics?

MOQ is 500–1,000 kg per colour; planning the collection around home and away colourways uses the MOQ efficiently. The exact figure is confirmed with your quotation.

Can you meet a season calendar?

Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch; ahead of the pre-season peak we recommend reserving capacity early. We work EXW, FOB or DAP; quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.

Are the fabrics sublimation-ready?

Yes — the polyester base is the native chemistry of sublimation; light grounds are prepared for printing and even surfaces return crisp artwork. Ground shade and width tolerances are agreed at quotation stage.

Can you knit our own motif in jacquard?

Yes: on jacquard mesh and jacquard piqué the pattern repeat is developed to your project and approved with a knitted trial. Because the motif sits in the structure it does not fade like a print; for multi-colour repeats the production plan and lead time are stated in the quotation.

Which tests do you report on jersey fabrics?

Production runs under ISO 9001 with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified inputs; perspiration and wash fastness, dimensional stability and pilling are reported per order. On request the same fabrics are produced on a GRS-certified rPET base.
