Three-thread fleece is named after its construction: ground, fleece and binder yarn systems knitted together on one machine. The fleece yarn gives the cloth a body and warmth two-thread terry cannot reach — the face stays flat like jersey, while the back is either left unbrushed or raised into a plush inside. This is the core cloth of heavy sweatshirts, winter hoodies and joggers; the elastane version adds a fitted shape.
We produce for brands repeating their winter capsule every year as well as companies dressing staff in corporate winter tops, across Western Europe, Russia and the CIS, and routinely produce to the test standards of European sports and apparel brands. The ordering terms below are the same figures we quote.

The base of the programme: the full, firm, shape-holding heavy-sweat body of the three-yarn system.
Composition
Polyester-led (ground + fleece + binder). Three-thread is classically cotton/cotton-PES (CVC); the 100% polyester version exists but is less common.

Your fabric development partner
In three-thread fleece the body is set by the fleece yarn: its thickness, the brushing depth and the elastane share are built around your garment’s block and season; colours are approved via lab-dip, and dimensional stability and pilling are test-reported per order. For corporate programmes we archive the colour recipe and hold the same tone on repeat orders. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.

Frequently asked questions
What is your minimum order (MOQ) for three-thread fleece?
We work within 500–1,000 kg per colour; the exact figure is confirmed with your quotation per version. Sharing your winter colour plan early makes it easier for us to reserve capacity.
What are your lead time and delivery terms?
Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch, finishing included for brushed versions. We ship EXW, FOB or DAP; quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.
How does three-thread differ from French terry?
French terry is knitted from a ground plus a loop yarn; in three-thread a fleece yarn is laid in and anchored by a binder. The result is a markedly fuller, firmer and warmer cloth: mid-season pieces come from French terry, winter pieces from three-thread.
How do I choose between brushed and unbrushed three-thread?
In the brushed version the fleece yarns on the back are raised: maximum warmth and softness, with some risk of the nap flattening over time. The unbrushed version gives a drier, cleaner inside with a lower pilling tendency. Season and wash profile decide — we test-report both versions.
Do you produce winter programmes for corporate and workwear?
Yes — three-thread is the carrier of the corporate winter top: its tight knit holds shape, and the polyester base gives colourfastness and low shrinkage. We run under ISO 9001, archive your corporate colour recipe and hold tone continuity across repeat orders.
