Fersan Tekstil is a vertically integrated polyester knitted fabric manufacturer in Çorlu, Türkiye — in the rib programme, body yardage and collar-cuff ribs are knitted from the same yarn and matched in the same dyehouse; ~750 tonnes a month since 1982.

Rib is the vertical-channel structure knitted on opposed needles: strong crosswise stretch, natural recovery even without elastane, and edges that do not curl. Our programme brings a garment maker’s two needs together in one place: body yardage for ribbed tops and innerwear, plus collars, cuffs, waistbands and hem bands knitted to match. 1x1 and 2x2 constructions, a high-recovery elastane version and the smooth-faced interlock-rib complete the family.
For the garment maker the difference is simple: when body cloth and trim are dyed in the same lot, collar-to-body shade variation disappears. We supply brands and garment makers across Western Europe, Russia and the CIS, and routinely produce to the test standards of European sports and apparel brands. The ordering terms below are the same figures we quote.

The base of the programme: a 1x1/2x2 channel structure that stretches crosswise and recovers even without elastane — body and trim alike.

Your fabric development partner
In rib, the construction (1x1/2x2), tightness and elastane level are set to the job of the piece: a hugging cuff and a draping ribbed top do not share a recipe. Colours are approved via lab-dip; stretch-recovery, dimensional stability and fastness are documented per order with test reports. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.

Frequently asked questions
What is your minimum order (MOQ) for polyester rib?
The 500–1,000 kg per colour range applies; when collar-cuff rib is planned together with the body-fabric order, trim volumes are discussed within the same lot. The exact figure is confirmed with your quotation.
What are your lead time and delivery terms?
Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch; we work EXW, FOB or DAP. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.
Can I get collar and cuff rib colour-matched to my body fabric?
Yes — that is what the programme is built for: body yardage and rib bands are knitted from the same yarn and dyed in the same bath, with the shade match secured via lab-dip approval.
How do I choose between 1x1 and 2x2 rib?
1x1 gives a denser, flatter, balanced face — the standard for collars and fine bindings; 2x2 has deeper channels, more spring and a bolder look — the choice for waistbands, hems and ribbed tops. We often run both within one garment programme.
Should I choose rib with or without elastane?
Rib recovers by structure even without elastane; for collars and cuffs under repeated stretching and for tightly fitted pieces, the elastane version holds its shape markedly longer. We advise per pattern and use intensity, and both versions are documented with test reports.
