Fersan Tekstil is a vertically integrated polyester knitted fabric manufacturer in Çorlu, Türkiye — yarn to knitting, HT dyeing to finishing, ~750 tonnes a month since 1982. The moisture-wicking programme is reserved for structures that carry sweat to the surface and evaporate it fast.

Let’s be honest about the mechanism first: polyester absorbs almost no moisture — wicking is not the fabric “soaking up” sweat but carrying it to the outer face through capillary channels between filaments. Two things build that transport: pore architecture (piqué, mesh, channelled knits) and a hydrophilic finish bonded to the fibre. Fast drying then follows naturally from polyester’s low moisture retention: sweat spread across the surface evaporates instead of returning to the skin.
We don’t count a “dry” label on an unfinished fabric as performance; here wicking is engineered as knit plus finish, and its durability is verified by testing after washing. We supply sports brands and garment makers across Western Europe, Russia and the CIS, and regularly produce to the test standards of European sports and apparel brands.

Your fabric development partner
We build moisture management around your garment: mesh panels for sweat zones, channelled knits for the body, a hydrophilic finish bonded to the fibre — the combination follows your use case, and wicking and drying behaviour are test-reported after repeated washing; an antimicrobial finish is applied on request and documented with test reports. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.

Frequently asked questions
Does a wicking fabric absorb sweat?
No — it moves it. Polyester absorbs almost no moisture; sweat is drawn through capillary channels between filaments to the outer face and evaporates there. An absorbing fabric stays wet; a wicking fabric keeps you dry.
Does the wicking effect wash out?
Durability depends on the finish: we use hydrophilic finishes bonded to the fibre and test-report wicking behaviour after repeated washing — the claim rests on the report, not the label.
Can you add an antimicrobial finish against sweat odour?
Yes — an antimicrobial finish is applied per order and documented with a test report; it is combined with moisture management on the same finishing line.
What is the minimum order (MOQ) for moisture-wicking fabric?
MOQ is 500–1,000 kg per colour; the exact figure is confirmed with your quotation. Small-volume needs such as panel fabrics are planned together with the main order.
What are your lead time and delivery terms?
Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch; we work EXW, FOB or DAP. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.
