Manufacturing Programme

Polyester Mesh Fabric Manufacturer

Fersan Tekstil is a vertically integrated polyester knitted fabric manufacturer in Çorlu, Türkiye — in the net and mesh programme, pores are opened by the knit itself, not cut in; ~750 tonnes a month since 1982.

Pore architecture defines the net and mesh family: a coarse, evenly holed open sports net at one end; the micro-pores of bird’s-eye texture in the middle; near-sheer lining mesh and the three-layer spacer that joins two faces with upright pile yarns at the other. Because the holes are knitted in, fabric integrity stays intact, and the airflow-versus-coverage balance is chosen panel by panel. Jacquard mesh adds patterned hole areas within the same knit.

From jerseys and shorts to linings and back panels, we produce the ventilation layer of sportswear for brands and garment makers across Western Europe, Russia and the CIS, and routinely produce to the test standards of European sports and apparel brands. The ordering terms below are the same figures we quote.

Net and mesh structures we manufacture in this programme

Sports Net / Eyelet Mesh

Sports net / eyelet mesh

110–160 g/m²

In this application
The benchmark for maximum airflow: a coarse, evenly holed open net — the cool ground of jerseys and shorts.
Composition
100% polyester (mechanical give) or, for real stretch, a ~88–92% PES / 8–12% elastane variant.

Bird’s-eye Mesh (mock mesh)

Bird’s-eye mesh (mock mesh)

135–200 g/m²

In this application
Micro-pored dot texture: balances airflow with a clean, corporate look; performance polos and training tops.
Composition
100% polyester (typical); a ~90–92% PES / 8–10% elastane version exists for stretch.

Breathable Micro Mesh (lining)

Breathable micro mesh (lining)

80–130 g/m²

In this application
Very light, fine lining mesh — the standard panel cloth inside jackets, swimwear and shorts.
Composition
100% polyester or, for light stretch, ~90–95% PES / 5–10% elastane; mostly microfilament polyester.

Spacer (3D sandwich) Mesh

Spacer (3D sandwich) mesh

220–350 g/m²

In this application
The three-layer spacer: breathable cushioning without foam; back panels, padding and structural details.
Composition
100% polyester (durable monofilament polyester in the core); some versions use PES/elastane on the faces.

Jacquard Mesh

Jacquard mesh

150–250 g/m²

In this application
Patterned hole areas in a single knit: body-mapping panels and a characterful jersey ground.
Composition
100% polyester or, for stretch, ~88–92% PES / 8–12% elastane.

Your fabric development partner

In mesh development, pore size, coverage and hand are engineered to the panel’s job; colours are approved via lab-dip, and air permeability, moisture management and fastness are documented per order with test reports. Moisture-wicking and antimicrobial finishes are applied on request and reported. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.

Frequently asked questions

What is your minimum order (MOQ) for net and mesh fabrics?

The 500–1,000 kg per colour range applies; in light structures like lining mesh that tonnage translates into high yardage, and we plan accordingly. The exact figure is confirmed with your quotation.

What are your lead time and delivery terms?

Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch; we work EXW, FOB or DAP. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.

Which mesh should I choose for a jersey — open net or bird’s-eye?

If maximum cooling and lightness come first, open sports net; where coverage, a print ground and a cleaner corporate look matter more, bird’s-eye mesh is the pick. Most team jerseys combine the two panel by panel; the data sheets on the cards make comparison easy.

How does sublimation printing come out on mesh?

The polyester base takes sublimation well; as the hole ratio rises, the motif breaks across the texture — so coarse open nets are often run in solid ground colours while fine and bird’s-eye mesh carry full patterns. We tune heat-setting parameters together with your printer’s process.

Is there an rPET option in net and mesh structures?

Yes — mesh structures are also knitted from GRS-certified rPET yarn; bird’s-eye mesh is a standard part of our rPET programme. See the recycled polyester manufacturing programme page for details.
