Fersan Tekstil is a vertically integrated polyester knitted fabric manufacturer in Çorlu, Türkiye; the activewear programme builds body-following elastane knits from yarn to finish on one line — ~750 tonnes a month since 1982.

Activewear asks a different question than team sport: the fabric must move with the body, recover on every rep and stay opaque under stretch. A legging that passes the squat test is not born of one magic ingredient but of three decisions made together — weight, knit density and yarn fineness are engineered as one, and elastane adds stretch and return on top of that balance. A microfiber face brings the programme its studio-to-street hand.
We produce for collections running from leggings and sports bras to athleisure tops and sports innerwear; we supply Western Europe, Russia and the CIS, and routinely produce to the test standards of European sports and apparel brands. Stretch direction and recovery targets are agreed together as early as quotation stage.

Your fabric development partner
In activewear, development starts from the pattern: your garment’s stretch direction, recovery target and opacity expectation are defined; structure, elastane construction and finish are chosen to match, colours are approved via lab-dip and performance is reported with the fabric tested under stretch. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.

Frequently asked questions
What is your MOQ for activewear fabrics?
MOQ is 500–1,000 kg per colour; in elastane structures the exact figure depends on the construction and is confirmed with your quotation. Small development trials are planned within the project.
What are your lead time and delivery terms?
Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch; we work EXW, FOB or DAP. Quotation requests are answered within 2 business days.
Do your legging fabrics pass the squat test?
The honest answer: opacity is not a single fabric property but the combined result of weight, knit density and yarn fineness. We engineer that trio to your product’s target, assess the fabric under stretch and document the result with tests.
Do you offer four-way stretch?
Yes — stretch interlock gives multi-direction stretch and recovery; elastane jersey and elastane French terry are mostly two-way. The right structure is chosen together for the garment, and stretch and return are measured per order.
Are the fabrics suitable for sports innerwear too?
Yes — inputs are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified and the structures overlap with our innerwear programme; on request the same structures are knitted from GRS-certified rPET yarn.
